fiberdesk combines mode solving, gain modelling and nonlinear optical simulation in a single software package. Simulate multilayer photonic devices, fibre amplifiers, laser oscillators, beam propagation and ultrafast pulse dynamics using a consistent set of physical models. Advanced support for multiple active ions, time-dependent gain dynamics and finite-element modelling enables realistic simulations of modern photonic systems.

It is currently available for sale in version 8. Not all features are implemented yet..
